I recently had the red ring of death and have just about given up turning my xbox off for the day and coming down the next morning hoping it’s fixed. I have decided to send my xbox to microsoft because it’s still under warranty and I want it to be fixed. My question is that when I send it there will it be fixed for life? Will I never get the red ring again?

Well, one day i decided to play my xbox 360. So i go up and turn on the system (Wired Controller is plugged in) and i notice that all the lights are turned on the controller…..so i waited about 5 minutes and it stayed like that. I tried reconnecting *Everything 100 times* and the controller is still frozen. Is there anyway to fix this?

I have an XBbox 360 and today I got a red ring of death. I restarted the machine and it worked fine, restarted it again and got another red ring of death. I waited a few hours and the system again worked normally, no freeze ups or rings. Is it normal for an XBox 360 to occasionally get a red ring of death but not be totally broken? Am I just getting lucky by having a broken machine play on occasion? Should I still consider buying a replacement?

my xbox recently got three red rings and i was wondering whether it would fix it if i replaced both xclamps instead of just the one heatsink. as well as replacing the thermal paste. after 30secs my xbox turns 2 rings and shuts down so i cant overheat it.
